Estelle was the oldest of 11 children, born and raised on 200 acres of farmland in Kinston, North Carolina.
Straight from World War II, her soon to be husband, Ben swept her off her feet, (at 5’2 it wasn’t very hard) He was 6’1, stylish, very handsome, he drove a red convertible, played the guitar, harmonica, organ and piano! Their love story continued as Estelle had her own 9 children. She loved baking and passed that love along to her daughters, it was how she showed her love to us all.
As her favorite granddaughter, I intend to share a piece of my grandma’s love with you. Welcome to the family.
